Thursday Aug. 9

Congratulations!
You have been working very hard today. You still have tomorrow a.m. to work.
Remember that these projects will be ongoing... just like classroom life!
We are so anxious to see your project demonstrations tomorrow afternoon.

Thank you so much for the upgrade today! My project team will LOVE it!!! I have incorporated my blogspot into my wiki and have the website ready to go! The kids will be excited to help continue develop the space. Jay was fun! Thanks for bringing him in as the speaker!

This is exciting! I published my Web site today! I can't wait to add to some of the pages, and have it ready for parents to view. I also played with Picasa some more, and think I kind of know how to organize photos to make it easier to publish class books. Thanks Deb! It's been a pretty intense week. Mixed feelings about being done tomorrow.

Today was a better day--- I would like to continue to add to my webquest but it is up and going on pbwiki, unlike yeasterday! I enjoyed the guest speaker although it made me feel like our school is very behind in terms of technology. I enjoyed the Math and Tech classes today. It really opened my eyes to projects that I could try this year. I want to do the graphing in Excel with my classes. Thanks for all of the great activity ideas.

This is so fun. I found some great websites for my WebQuest. I have begun to write it out and publish it. I had a great time using Picnik. It is a great resource for photos.

I can't thank deb enough for her patience. I still have work to do on my webquest but at least it's a good start. It will be fun to get out of the classroom and away from the textbook. We will cover even more benchmarks and have fun at the same time.

The speaker was interesting. Now it seems I will be spending more money for a wacom. I have to have one! The audacity and podomatic weren't as easy as I had hoped they'd be, but I am going to practice with it and get it down. I will have it figured out so I can do a podcast the first day of school. There is so much to learn and so little time.

I enjoyed our guest speaker! He has some great ideas and advice. I also learned about iGoogle and the Google pages. My new iGoogle page is a handy way to organize lots of things I do or places I visit every day. I've got my TO DO LIST right at the top! My photo story is nearly complete, except for music. Thanks for helping me with the wiki idea, too.
